A nearly mad frenzy of painting as I race against the clock to complete a twin set of Gornji Grad paintings on commission and a gift of owls before leaving Croatia. Ta da - Success is very sweet and happy homes await the freshly finished works. Less than 10 days later the Hodge family packed up home (and studio) for our move to West Sussex in the south of England. Happily our collection of Croatian Naive glass paintings and my own 'artist's collection' survived the move without damage.
Breathing easy again is nice!
